Verdict : After reading the referee report and watching the live stream footage RBIHF.TV, we are of the opinion that the standard penalty of 1 game suspension - 5 points, is insufficient.
We impose an additional suspension of 1 match on player Liege player #98, Loris DARQUES. Player #98 did not have any reason to interfere in the push and pull between several players and randomly physically attack a player of the opposing team to give him several fists, even when both fell on the ice. It is also very unsportsmanlike behaviour to randomly start a brawl with a self-selected player of the opposing team, this because this player then runs the risk of also incurring a game misconduct for fighting and a corresponding suspension, if he were to defend himself and fight back, which was not the case here. For imposing an additional suspension, we also take into account the previous penalties in other matches of Loris DARQUES. Here the suspensions, Loris DARQUES, did not bring any insights, he always relapses into the same facts.
Player has asked for review of the verdict. The Liège president's defense did not lead to a different ruling for the Disciplinary Committee.
