Verdict : After reading the referee report and watching the live stream footage of rbihf.tv (01:45:35), we are of the opinion that the standard penalty of 1 game suspension - 5 points, is insufficient.
We consider this to be a reckless foul because Maksim TSAPLIN must have estimated in advance that the Hague player had set himself low on the skate and that by performing a body check with the shoulder, there would be an almost 100% chance that the Hague player would be hit on the head and be crushed between his shoulder and the boarding. This could have gone seriously wrong for the Hague player, his helmet angled on his head after the hit, he remained lying on the ice and afterwards took his seat back in his players' bench for care.
Therefor 1 game additional suspension.
