It is the opinion of the Disciplinary Committee that the abuse of officials by Leuven player Maxsim Tsaplin needs to be sanctioned with an additional game suspension.
Player Tsaplin was already punished with a minor penalty for abuse during the match. After the match, the player once again found it necessary to taunt the referee like a blind man. The referee who still warned the player involved to leave and also skated away from the event, was scolded afterwards. So player is suspended regulary for 1 game plus 1 additional game.
The player may ask for a review of the verdict.
