Based on footage from the live stream Herentals player De Ceuster was sanctioned by the Discliplinary Committee for an offence against a Geleen player, who was serious injured. The verdict was 10 games suspension. Herentals did not agree and filed a report to the Appeal Committee.
The verdict of the Appeal Committee is that, following the Disciplinary Regulations, the Disciplinary Committee did not have the rights to sanction HYC Herentals player J. de Ceuster. Only cases with a standardized sanction can be processed by the Disciplinary Committee. The offence was not seen by the referee.
Therefor: The remaing suspension will be annulled.
